Pickleball Paddles Set of 2 USAPA Approved Fiberglass with 4 Balls, 2 Cooling Towels & Carry Bag Review (2026)

Who This Bundle Fits

This set targets beginners, couples or families buying their first pair of paddles who do not yet own balls, a bag or any court accessories and want one purchase to cover it all. The inclusion of two cooling towels sets it apart from most starter sets, which is a useful extra for anyone playing outdoors through summer heat rather than in a climate-controlled gym. It is less suited to an intermediate or advancing player who already owns balls and a bag and wants to spend the full budget on a higher-performance paddle face instead of bundled extras.

What Is Included and How It Is Built

The set ships with two fiberglass-faced paddles that carry USAPA approval, along with four balls, two cooling towels and a carry bag to hold everything together. Fiberglass is a common beginner paddle face because it is forgiving and adds pop to help new players reach the baseline, though it produces less spin than a textured carbon fiber face favored by more advanced players. The carry bag keeps the paddles, balls and towels together between sessions, which matters for a starter kit likely to get tossed in a car trunk or closet rather than stored carefully.

Using the Set for a First Season

For a new player, the biggest value in this kind of bundle is not having to make five separate purchasing decisions before a first game, since the paddles, balls, towels and bag arrive ready to use out of the box. The cooling towels are a genuinely practical inclusion for outdoor courts in warm weather, letting players cool down between games without needing to pack a separate towel. As players improve, the included paddles are likely to be the first piece replaced with a more advanced carbon fiber model, while the bag and towels tend to stay in rotation longer.

Trade-offs Against Similar Starter Sets

Against the Spurtia set, which scores slightly higher here, the difference comes down to small details like grip tape inclusion rather than a major construction gap, since both use similar fiberglass-over-honeycomb builds aimed at beginners. Sets built around carbon fiber paddles, such as the USAPA-approved carbon fiber set with four balls and a bag, generally score higher for spin and touch but drop the cooling towels found in this bundle. The core tradeoff across this whole category is paddle face material: fiberglass keeps the price accessible and forgives off-center hits, while carbon fiber rewards more developed technique with better spin control once a player's swing becomes more consistent.

Verdict and Who Should Buy Differently

New players or couples who want a complete starter kit with a useful cooling-towel extra will get good value here, especially if budget matters more than top-tier paddle performance on day one. Players who already have balls and a bag and want to put their full budget into paddle quality should instead look at a carbon fiber set, even without the towels, since spin and control improve faster with the face material than with any bundled accessory. Anyone buying as a gift for a more experienced player should also skip fiberglass starter sets entirely and choose a single premium paddle instead, since a seasoned player is more likely to value paddle feel over included extras like towels or a basic carry bag.
